The first CCSVI Funding resort vacation fundraising raffle took place right on Schedule and was webcast from the grounds of the CCSVI Funding sponsor the beautiful Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf and Spa resort. Richard Beecroft who is an MS sufferer was the very first patient to reach the 1,000 fundraising raffle numbers required to pay for his CCSVI-MS angioplasty “Liberation” procedure. As the raffle took place thanks to live stream technology, we were able to link up with Richard during the webcast directly from Dr. Moguel’s Clinics of the Heart at the modern facilities of the Costa Med hospital in Cozumel and we are happy to report that Richard is doing just fine and improving by the hour from the debilitating effects of multiple sclerosis that have plagued him for years.
1,000 names and raffle numbers in sealed envelopes were placed in a transparent tumbler and the winning number drawn by Ms. Veronica Romero representing the Dar Más, A.C. Foundation and the winner of a fantastic 1 week resort vacation including airfare for 2 people was won by Tania Grimmer. Congratulations Tania!
Our hope is that the affordability of receiving the CCSVI “Liberation” procedure will no longer be a factor for patients who are affected by Multiple Sclerosis and that the CCSVI angioplasty treatment will be available to as many patients who need it. The level of commitment of Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa resort is truly amazing, as the sponsor of the CCSVI Funding Project they fully understand the impact that the CCSVI MS “Liberation” angioplasty procedure has had in the multiple sclerosis community and they are convinced that “feel good” marketing is absolutely the right thing to do.
Multiple sclerosis patients, friends and family of patients are invited to apply for a CCSVI Funding resort vacation fundraising raffle, there is no cost and all that is needed is the will to get better. Visit www.ccsvifunding.org/go and click on patients in need. CCSVI Funding will do the rest.
