Dear Doctors and Staff at Clinics of the Heart ,
We just wanted to take a minute to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the care you gave Pat during our time in Los Cabos. We learned more about his heart from you than we had ever known. We were so thankful for the immediate emergency care you provided. You always kept us informed of the next step and no one ever left his side! You are an amazing team and we couldn't be more grateful! Because of you we can breathe a little easier knowing that what we have been doing since his heart attack 5 years ago is working! Up to this point we have been on the edge of our seat always wondering when the next heart attack would happen and if he'd survive. Thank you for peace of mind! Thank you so much, Ria and Pat
I am so grateful for the treatment and care I received from everyone at the Clinics of Heart, I can
never thank the medical team enough for all they have done for me.
Thank you for everything and have a wonderful day. I cannot express how
wonderful it is to be able to walk and talk properly again. I recommend the
Clinics of Heart to everyone seeking the Liberation Treatment. If anyone
sees the videos and it can change there minds or help to make a decision on
whether or not to have the treatment......it will be "one more person" who
can have there life back.

Hi Andres,
It’s been almost a year since my wife (Deb H.) had the procedure at Clinic of the Heart. Her condition remains much improved. She has more energy than she has had in many years, she has been able to go off Copaxone and has reduced her Gabapentin by half. Certainly our trip to Cabo was the most rewarding experience in memory, and continues to be.

I was treated in Cabo April 2011.....it is real and they are amazing. The surgery has improved my life significantly. I can feel my hands and feet again, my gait issteadier, my bladder control is better, no fatigue, I have lost 15lbs since having it done because I am exercising everyday....walking on the treadmil and strengthening and balancing exercises I wasn't able to balance enoughor have any energy to do it. I am retraining muscles. Go and get i tdone...amazing....
Hi Andres,
Hope all is well with you.....just wanted to thank you and the whole team again....you and the team are amazing and please know how much we appreciate all you
did and all you do. I am doing amazing. I am improving every day and feel amazing. The improvements in my life and mobility are priceless. I have total feeling to my right hand and foot and very little numbness and tingling to my left side. I haven't had that since my early 20's. I felt the texture of carpet under my feet for the first time, since returning from Mexico. I am walking better....walked 2.5kms last week with Paul and prior wasn't able to walk more than a block. I am exercising everyday....treadmill, stationary bike, strengthening exercises and balancing exercises. I am going to phsio once a week and learning how to rebuild muscles I haven't been able to use in years. Everyone is seeing improvements and people who didn't know me well before are commenting on how much "brighter" I look.....amazing and wouldn't believe it unless I was feeling it and seeing it.
We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts......
Take care and take care of yourself,
Love Paul and Tana
Dear Dr. Moguel,
I returned home to Utah safely, and have visited the vascular clinic at University of Utah Hospital. I want to thank you, Dr. Rodriguez, and the entire staff at the Amerimed Hospital for the excellent care and professional manner in which my recent emergency DVT was managed. Your personality, and and all others as well,
were very reassuring in my time of need. I very much appreciate your expert and skillful efforts on my behalf.
I can unequivocally recommend both you and the Amerimed Hospital to anyone in need, as the best place to seek expert and speedy treatment.
Again, my sincere thanks.

The CCSVI in the Amerimed Hospital , Los Cabos San Lucas, Mexico .
My name is Yvonne and I’m from Ontario , Canada . I had the CCSVI-procedure done in Mexico and it couldn’t have been a better experience. My husband accompanied me for which I am forever greatful! Every person, from treatment coordinator and assistant coordinator, administrators, doctors, nurses, cleaners involved in the Clinics of the Heart at Amerimed Hospital were very diligent at making you feel at home and comfortable , truly a Hospital with a big heart.
Every day we were greeted by the cleaning staff opening the doors for us and then the administrative staff, Adrian, Edouardo, Jacqueline, Cathy and more to tell us what needed to be done next, the doctors and coordinators made sure that I was understanding everything and there was nothing to worry about, most of the staff spoke English! Our stay at The Marina Fiesta Resort was all arranged by the coordinators beforehand and we were given a beautiful big room that was cleaned every day by Bianca, a very nice lady, also with a big heart. The staff, the chief concierge Alberto Miguel and all the busboys all wanted to make you feel welcome, what a good experience this was. Last but not least, the weather was gorgeous, every day was blue sky and sun, unbelievable! We thanked God for it all.
Following is a detailed report on the CCSVI:
February 5, 2011 we arrived at the airport of Los Cabos in the evening. We were warned not to talk to anyone at the arrival hall, because they would want to sell ‘timeshare deals’. This was true! In the hall to the right was someone holding the sign ‘ CCSVI Amerimed Hospital ’ and when we went up to him, he immediately escorted us with our luggage to the taxi who would drive us to the Marina Fiesta Resort. This was all very simple. At the resort we were greeted by Mr. Andres Brakke who welcomed us to Mexico. He noticed that we were tired and helped us find our room and a busboy took our luggage to the room. Andres told us that I was to have a MRI at 8AM at the hospital the next day. At the hospital everybody was very friendly and after the MRI was done, we could go back to the Marina Fiesta. We rested and went outside to the poolside restaurant for something to eat and enjoy some of that beautiful weather.
On Monday I was tested for my hearing by the nose, ear and throat specialist who was very kind but I have not forgotten him as a doctor but his name escapes me. The Neuro-Surgeon, Dr. Carla Pedroza also examined me thoroughly. Then I underwent the first Doppler done by Dr.Jorge Berzunza and he was amazed at the size of the valves and the blockages.
Dr Rafael Moguel, director of the clinic and the specialist who headed the procedure, told me that I had to be in hospital overnight with an anti-biotic drip for the bacterial kidney infection had still not cleared, this infection started in Canada and my GP had put me on anti-biotic for 10 days. Dr. Moguel wanted to make sure to treat the infection with IV anti-biotic before the procedure which now was to be the next day in the afternoon. He also told me that the blockage/ stenosis was in all 3 veins, the left jugular and the azygos as well as the right jugular. I was surprised. The next day the infection finally cleared and I finally had the procedure. The doctors and nurses involved made me feel very comfortable, the music was on to relax me and they talked with me during the whole procedure. I was given mild sedation so I could still hear and see everything. It all went very well and the doctors sang a song after each ballooning was successfully completed. I felt very good after the procedure. I could feel my circulation improving almost immediately; this was great, because I had years of cold spells and feeling freezing through my body.
After a good Mexican hospital meal with 7 kinds of fruit, chicken and mixed freshly cooked vegetables, I went back to the hotel. This meal was incredible for a hospital meal; I have been in hospitals in Canada and Europe but I never was fond of their meals. I think I was treated royally! Unfortunately, the next day I experienced a lot of discomfort on the left jugular vein and Dr. Moguel with Dr. Adolfo Martinez came to see me in the hotel to examine me and tell me to continue the bloodthinners and they also prescribed anti-inflammatory with that. They showed a genuine concern but told me not to worry, because if the pain was still there on Thursday, they would perform another Doppler to see what was going on. We had to stay another week and all the changes were done by the coordinators we had no worries. My husband was also a great support all the way through which helped so much!!
Thursday came and the Doppler was done and they found several bloodclots and told me that I had to stay on so they could do another procedure on the left jugular vein to remove the bloodclots. This was done on the Thursday of the following week; it was more painful because I could not have sedation(because of bloodclots), but the loving kindness and all the singing of the doctors, doctor Adolfo rubbed my head which I will never forget and the nurse/orderly Victor helped me through just fine. The ballooning was successful and removed all the bloodclots but 1 tiny one on the wall of the vein which does not obstruct the bloodflow !! The hotel and return flight again had to be rearranged, because Dr. Moguel wanted to keep an eye on me and do another Doppler just to make sure. I felt very well cared for. The coordinators extended the resort stay once again and they made sure we kept the same room. Now I’m back home and very much improved in my speech, my looks (healthier), my walk and I started an exercise program with Sandi, my physio-therapist. It’s hard, but I am amazed I’m able to do it at all; before I was so fatigued that I was not able to do anything like that.
I’m taking 301mg of bloodthinners per day for 6 months which we bought in Mexico which was the advice of Dr. Moguel, because this medications is almost twice the price in Canada. This is my story of success and I and my husband felt we left a family behind at that hospital and the Resort, their friendliness and love of all grew on us and we miss everyone greatly. I received as a souvenir a T-shirt for my husband and myself from Mr. Andres Brakke which states “MO FLOW IN CABO” ( More bloodflow in Cabos) which is so true. Did you ever feel the love flowing through your body? Besides bloodflow, I also felt the love flo which is so needed !! Thanks again to all the staff of the Clinics of the Heart at Amerimed Hospital, you are forever in my heart.
Yvonne D. - Ontario, Canada.
This is Yvonne from Ontario, Canada again.
I want to mention some key persons in this whole procedure and its preparation. First of all I would like to mention Mr. Andres Brakkes, the treatment coordinator, who from the start was in close contact by e-mail or by phone with me, addressing all the questions that I had. Together with his assistant coordinator Daniela Tinoco they did everything possible to make us feel at home and always were available. And every time we met, Andres made sure to give me a big beary hug!
Daniela was very instrumental in making sure we could stay in the same room of the resort the extra 2 weeks. Thank you Andres and Daniela. The other exceptional service was from Adriel who works in the administration of the hospital. He answered all my questions and contacted Dr.Moguel for me and this was great, he was always pleasant and I appreciated that so much. Thanks again Adrian! And then there was Dr.L (his name was too hard to pronounce)who made me understand the medical parts I didn't quite get.
In the resort we had special service from Alberto Miguel, the chief concierge, who did everything we requested and had need of. We both had our birthday on the Sunday February 13 th! Thanks again Alberto! Last but not least, Dr. Moguel who went out of his way to greet us and ask how I am doing. He also came to the resort on the last night we were there and brought with him Andres Brakke to bid us farewell.
On the morning that we left, Dr. Moguel was there again to say farewell and have a good trip, thank you Dr.Moguel! Everyone of you were just like family.
Yvonne D. Canada.
My name is Sherry and I have just returned from my liberation treatment in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I cannot tell you how happy and impressed I was by the excellent care and treatment I received while I was there. The doctors and nurses were so kind, knowledgeable, considerate and helpful in every way. When I arrived in Mexico, I was tired, drained, pale with the usual symptoms of M S. I was unable to move my legs, feet and my left arm or hand which was closed into a fist. I was unable to open it. I was troubled with double vision and eyes that actually jumped, which sometimes left me unable to see. During the operation, I felt so at ease, because I knew I was in good hands. After the successful procedure I could see, hear and speak more clearly. My left hand could now open, my arm that I could not move before now stretched before me with my hand opening and closings completely. After 48 hours, I had improved 40%. Time and physio will take care of the rest.
Thank you so much to the wonderful doctors and medical staff of "CLINICS OF THE HEART" Hospital in Cabo San Lucas for giving me new hope and strength.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Our special thanks to our brother and sister-in-law who accompanied us and helped us through this treatment. XOXOXO

There is this place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico it is a wonderful place. A place of miracles. I would know, I have been there, seen them with my own eyes and experienced them for myself.
I have seen a woman, who was told by her US doctor that she needed her leg amputated, walking around and around the lobby after her surgery in Cabo. I have seen family members who's loved ones had a heart attack on their cruse ship, smiling in the same lobby with the joy of relief that death has not come
their way. I have meet people with Multiple Sclerosis who came into that lobby with canes and in wheelchairs leave without them. I watched others with simpler aliments come in and be treated and leave with smiles on their faces.
I, myself, went in with hope. Hope that I would walk out better than I wheeled in. I have MS.
This miracle place is Amerimed Hospital and the miracle worker is Dr. Moguel. Dr. Moguel and his team evaluated me and found an enlarged jugular vein, really enlarged, and a valve blocking the flow from my brain. Angioplasty did not work for me, even though Dr. Moguel put two balloons in at once, the valve
was too much of a problem. Dr. Moguel offered to do surgery. That surgery fixed my vein and has given me back some, if not most, of a "normal" life. Nothing short of a MIRACLE!
I found myself sitting in that lobby, very content and happy to be sharing in so many miracles.
Saying thank you is not enough. I pledge to embrace my new life daily!

I just wanted to thank you guys again for all of your kind support in giving me the opportunity to truly enhance my life before it was too late. I can safely say that my migraine headaches, severe vertigo and leg pains/paralysis are a thing of the past. Im also learning what touch and feeling are all over again.Im fortunate to have a neurologist and GP back home that are supportive of the treatment and me, and will keep up with any necessary follow ups. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude towards the whole team. You are amazing people doing amazing work with amazing results...for those who are determined not to allow the disease to take over that is;-) I came in expecting nothing more than a family vacation, and ended up leaving as the girl I knew was still deep inside. The girl who could walk and smile, and whose tears of pain and frustration turned back to tears of joy.

As a 54 year old woman with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis I was getting really anxious to find something that would stop my MS and help give me a better quality of life. I began research into CCSVI information in November. I began signing up for every place that was offering at least diagnosis, in the hopes it would lead me towards the procedure. Suddenly, I found the clinic in Los Cabos. I signed in very quickly and was accepted to go on June 14th.
That was the trip that changed the course of my future! Amerimed, Andres Brakke, and Dr.Raphael Moguel are my new found heros for sure.
I had blockages, and a valve problem which was corrected within no time. The staffing at the Clinic were all wonderful, very caring and excited for us all.
The next day I went out in the sun, swimming in the pool, for the first time in at least fifteen years. My intolerance to heat was gone. My balance was better, my feet were warm. I did not have tinnuitis, or brain fog. I felt like it must feel to be 100%, but to me it was 1000%. I could even jump.
Dr. Moguel was able to restore all my functions, and send me home a new woman with a completely new outlook on my life.
The treatment I had at the clinic was amazing. Mr. Andres Brakke, the administrator was so helpful and sincere, and Dr. Moguel was incredibly professional while being very friendly, excited and concerned.
I strongly recommend going there for the CCSVI procedure if you get the chance. It is also a beautiful setting with beautiful people, so you can enjoy yourself while there.

I'm Laura. I was there and treated 5 Aug. I had been treated on 5 July in India but I needed it re-done and Dr Moguel fixed me up. I just got back last night from Cabo San Lucas. Dr. Moguel is so great, and the procedure and the fact that they will publish after 100 patients is very encouraging. The whole experience was great. Balance better, no more cane. I got rid of it once in India, but then it came back, now it's gone! Amazing correlation with the veins.

I can't tell you how much you have changed my life!!! This procedure has eliminated all of my symptoms of MS that were destroying my life. Before I had the outlook of a wheelchair or much worse and now I look forward to a great, pain free life. This is the large piece of the puzzle to eliminate MS. Every day I get stronger and live better. Everyone should get the procedure and the sooner the better. God bless you for what you have given me and my family. Thank-you so much.
Gail S. - Saskatchewan, Canada.
All of the doctors tell me that I was very fortunate to have received your care. They tell me that the treatment was "very aggressive", but absolutely saved my life. One even commented that I may not have had such an outcome had I been treated here in the US. There are no words to tell you how grateful we are to have been at your hospital and under your care. When I came home to hug my children, I was overwhelmed by how blessed I have been. I am determined to make use of the new life you have given me.
Thank you again. If there is anything you think I should know about my status and/or medical care, please let us know. Please tell your staff thank you and convey our gratitude and appreciation.
Bob and Sherry Fortelny
I was very pleased with the attention I received. The surgery was very successful. I have stopped taking all medication for pain and I've stopped taking my muscle relaxants. I have an increase in strength and balance. My eyesight is clear. My tolerance for heat this increased. I have less fatigue. The swelling in my feet has gone down. The color in my face and limbs is better. Everyone at the hospital professional and friendly. It was the best money I ever spent. Sincerely and with many thanks.
Dennis A. - Saskatchewan, Canada
My sister and I just got back. We had the procedure done on Nov. 18 with good success. The clinic staff were amazing, the hospital was impeccably clean and the level of care was outstanding. Despite some negative stories about CCSVI before we left, my sister and I were undeterred. In fact, the stories gave us all the more resolve to get this done!
After the procedure, we both felt better immediately. I had more feeling in my feet, the spasticity in my right knee was almost gone, the gait in my right leg has pretty much corrected itself and we both have far more energy and stamina. My sister's symptoms were different from my own, but she has not had a blistering headache since the procedure was done, her eyes now "track" properly and she is able to watch a hockey game without feeling nauseous.
CCSVI is not a cure for MS, but it is most definitely a viable treatment option and one that should be readily available for all patients in Canada.
Perhaps the thing that struck me most about this entire experience was the sheer number of Canadians in Mexico, all waiting to have this procedure done. There were 23 patients in our week alone - from all parts of Canada - Halifax, NS to Victoria, BC and everywhere in between! We've since found out that my sister and I were patients number 302 & 303 to be done in this clinic. They hope to publish a study about their trials, but have yet to find a journal of medicine that will publish it.

Dear Dr. Rafael Moguel MD FSCA&I
On June 13, 2010 I was enlisted into a clinical trial for CCSVI evaluation and treatment by Dr. Rafael Moguel at Amerimed Hospital in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Dr. Moguel and the other doctors and staff at Amerimed Hospital were completely professional and competent. In fact Dr. Moguel was so kind and caring. I felt completely at ease in his care. He performed a venogram and diagnosed a blockage in one of my jugulars and angioplasty was performed to open it. I would never hesitate to return to Dr. Moguel's care. Mr. Andres Brakke the Clinic Coordinator who made all non medical arrangements was also a godsend. He was always on hand to make sure anything we needed was taken care of. I will be forever indebted to Dr. Moguel and his staff.

Hello all! I am back from Cabo San Lucas, and am THRILLED with the results! I won’t bore you with the incredible calibre of care received by everyone at the AmeriMed hospital, only to say I would not hesitate to return for any operation! Sorry if I run on a little long, but I am so excited.
I arrived to the hotel on Sat Oct 16/10 around 5PM and was met by the two coordinators from the hospital where we dealt with all the paperwork and what my schedule would be. To expedite, they recommended I go that evening to get my MRI, then have Sunday free to eat & drink anything ( as Andreas the awesome hospital coordinator told me to do), and go to the hospital Monday morning at 8AM for a plethora of tests and the procedure.

Nicole S. - Alberta, Canada.
Thank-you
I'm still feeling as good or better than when I was there. My numbness in my legs and arms is still gone and I haven't fallen down once since I've been home. I have more energy than I have had in the past five or more years. I'd like to thank Dr. Moguel for "The Beatles" and making my life much better with his expertise and professionalism. Great Job! Thank-you Daniela and to Andres (for the ride to The Gardiena Restaurant) you made my stay in Cabo a very positive experience!! I'll be back for a beach holiday soon. Your hospitality was amazing.
Debra O. - Alberta, Canada
I just got back on Saturday, and Cabo was AWESOME!! Everyone at Amerimed was just so helpful - from Andreas & Daniella to the magnificent team at the hospital including Dr. Moguel. I just can't say enough good things about them!! I have PPMS, and for the first time in years I am riding my stationary bike a couple of times per day, and am not feeling all noodly afterwards!! And no pain - biggest plus for me!! Good luck and let us know what happens!
Lori M. - British Columbia, Canada.
I got home from Cabo San Lucas on Sept. 24 and I feel much better. I left on Sept. 16th and had the procedure on the evening of the 17th. I slept pretty much the whole next day but I noticed my balance had improved. No more dizziness, nausea gone, I can close my eyes and not start to fall backwards. I have less stiffness in legs, and less pain in knees and thighs. Less stiffness in my neck and shoulders. I have less fatigue.
Hearing improvement, eyesight improvement. Generally an overall feeling of relaxation and improved mood. I still have numbness in my arms and hands but perhaps that will improve with time. So as of today Oct. 13th, I'm still feeling well. I have much more energy and can do more in a day than before. I went into a store today and wandered around looking at things for an hour, just because i COULD!
Shirley M. - Saskatchewan, Canada.
My son went to Cabo at the beginning of September. His appointment went ahead as scheduled and did not cost a cent more than he was told beforehand. He was told that if he needed stents they would cost $3,500 each, but it would be his choice to have them put in or not. Fortunately he didn't need them, so it was not a scam to charge more. The doctors and staff were very professional and my son and daughter in law were very impressed. They also loved Cabo and would like to go back some day, purely for vacation purposes.
He is doing well. He has a lot of his upper body strength back, can now tie his shoelaces, hold a knife and fork and write better than he has in years. He has more energy and doesn't need to nap any more. He has lost his brain fog. When he came back he was able to walk with his walker inside the house wnd was no longer dragging his foot. He started physio last week to help strengthen the muscles in his legs and the therapist thinks she will be able to help him with walking. He and his wife said Cabo was beautiful, but quite hilly so they couldn't do as much as they would have liked as it was hard in the wheelchair. There was lots to do and I think the clinic arranged some excursions for those who wanted them. Hope this helps put your fears to rest. Good luck with the procedure.
Isabel T. - Ontario, Canada.
I had excellent results. I am walking without even a cane. My balance and energy are back to normal. I am clear thinking and I am pain free. I have my life back and wake up every morning eager to begin the day!!! The waits were long, but the care was very good. Thank you so very
much.
Donna A. – Westbank, BC Canada.
We are so excited.Improvements noted in Mexico are still present. Little leaps in mobility new every day.

I'm feeling super! In fact better almost everyday. I'm walking in the pool now and trying out of water at home too...soon I'll leave this wheelchair behind. I've shared your address and my results with alot of MS people in our area and I hope they all come to see you.
Jean B. - British Columbia, Canada.
I am feeling great. I am learning how to use quad canes. I could not have done that before the procedure. Thanks.
Wendy S. - Alberta, Canada.
My procedure was on Dec. 1 and went very well. Improvements were slow, but noticeable by my husband. It is now 2 weeks later and things get better every day!!

I AM ONE OF THE SUCCESSES OF THE TREATMENT FOR MS. I HAVE HAD MS FOR 18 YEARS AND HAVE BACKED UP MY PROGRESSION BY 10 YEARS. I HAVE RETURNED FROM LOS CABOS AND HAVE BEEN GIVEN ALL THE RESULTS OF MY MRI, DOPPLER TEST, AND THE PROCEDURE OF THE LIBERATION TREATMENT. MY NEUROLOGIST HERE IN QUEBEC DID NOT WANT THEM. THE TREATMENT IS NOT A CURE BUT A FEELING OF HAPPINESS
Carol B. - Quebec, Canada.
I was treated on June 14th and am stronger in many ways. Expect results to continue for the next few months. Here's a hint though, ask your friends and relatives if THEY have noticed any changes. They can see things that you may not. Happy Liberation.
Robert F. - Victoria, BC Canada.
Had great results!!
That horrible fatigue feeling is gone. Also noticed I dont have to rest my arms on the counter when drying my hair. My vision has improved along with the heaviness in legs.
So happy I invested in the treatment. I am hoping it just keeps getting better!!!

Dear Dr. Rafael Moguel MD FSCA&I
I am writing you to give my testimony for the excellent and timely care that you and your staff gave me during my heart attack on our recent trip to Cab San Lucas. Your fully equipped hospital, Amerimed, with a Cath Lab and cardiologists, enabled me to survive this severe heart attack. You and your team responded quickly, completing the treatment and the procedure of installing two stents within the critical 90 minute window. Your communication with my wife and me was excellent and compassionate, explaining my condition, what procedures you would take and why, and continued during my 5 day stay there. You were competent and knowledgeable about specific issues regarding the stent choice and my conditions, and your recommendations for treatment for me upon returning to Oregon. My wife was very calm during this stressful ordeal inpart to the excellent care and quality of service I received from you and your team.
We also appreciated you quickly forwarding all records and images to our doctors in Oregon so that we could meet with them the day after we returned. My Cardiologist agreed with all that you did. He wants my heart to recover for two weeks, and then I will have additional tests to determine the need for a third stent at that time. I am recovering my strength and feeling well, thanks to you and your team.
I am very happy with the outstanding care I received from you and the staff at Amerimed, Cabo San Lucas.
Cordially,
Dick Dunnahoe
Dear Doctors,
It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I write this letter to you about your health care facility, Amerimed in San Lucas My husband was recently hospitalized under emergency circumstances while we were on vacation. Very quickly and efficiently upon arrival the appropriate tests were taken, results analyzed and then two serious procedures were successfully performed – an embolization and a fasciotomy.
We were extremely well treated and informed at all times by both of you. All the information that I received while in Mexico was repeated to me upon arrival back in Canada.
Even after our return, you kept in contact with me by email with respect to my husband's condition and recovery status.
We can honestly say - and we do tell everyone - that you saved his leg.
We are forever grateful. Thank you.
With Best Regards,
Gloria and Rafael Bachar
Dear Dr. Moguel:
We are very happy to let you know that Steve Vittoria is doing really well and recovering nicely. You are a Hollywood star! The Cardiologist at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles was "extremely impressed" by your cardiac treatment of Steve. The reports you provided were comprehensive and provided all the necessary information for the doctors.
We will always be grateful to you. Should you and your family ever visit Los Angeles please be sure to contact us. It would be an honor to entertain you in our home. We ordered the DVD movie Steve told you about so watch in the mail for a delivery.

Buenos Dias, Agnes, Karina, Luis, Maly, Rosie, Jorge ' George', Rafael ' Rudy', Dany, Hugo and all other staff, caring doctors and nurses who looked after Ken!!!!
I just thought it was about time that I sent all of you a short note to tell you how Ken was progressing since he arrived back home on Monday October 13. After a very informative tour by your paramedics enroute to the airport, we boarded onto to an Air Ambulance Cessna Citation, piloted by two pilots and two paramedics, along with Ken and I. When we arrived in San Diego, we were immediately driven to the huge University of California Medical Center Hospital. When Ken settled in to his new private room, he was soon examined by several Cardiologists and for the next twenty-four hours had all the tests that Rudy and George requested. The outcome was that nothing medically should be done now and that his new St. Jude's Pacemaker is working just great !!!! Thanks again everybody in Cabo !!
I think, along with my son Jay and Ken, that his heart is a little, tiny bit better and therefore his breathing has improved to some extent. He found that his fall from his syncopy episode proved hard on many parts of his body besides his sore shoulder. After being bed ridden for eight hospital days, he found it extremely difficult to walk without popping Extra Strength Tylenols for about a week or so. Now it is five weeks today since his pacemaker was installed, and he is now able to take short walks down the street where we live. He is still dreaming of being able to snow ski this winter, BUT, I keep saying if you can get into your very stiff ski boots, buckle them up, then get out of them again (which takes much more effort than putting them on), maybe then you can tackle the easier runs on the ski hill.
I thought that you would appreciate a few photos, I took with some of you and Ken. My son, Jay is going to try to scan them and then send as an attachment to this e-mail. I hope it works.
Best wishes and Bless all of you for your kindness and care given to both Ken and I. Thanks again from the entire Ozanne family.
Love,
Betty
Good Morning Dr. Moguel and Staff,
Arrived home to Alberta late Monday Feb 02/09. Very long day however all went well. Connential Airline service was excellent.
Went through customs etc. without problems. When we arrived at our home all of us were very tired. We went to bed and I slept 4-5 hours without waking.
This was wonderful.
Please let Dr. Berzunza know that I am eating better everyday. Also getting stronger. Incisions are healing quickly with no problems. I do miss the wonderful sunshine and warm weather but we are happy to be home in Alberta.
Regards to everyone there at the hospital. I miss your smiling happy faces.
I have an appointment with Dr Dutoit (family doctor) Tues. Feb 10/09.
I will be in contact with you in the near future.
God bless you all. Thank you for saving my life.
Love Mary Frew and Family
Dear Dr. Moguel,
I wanted to bring you up to date on my status. I have met with my new heart doctor; Dr. Graham of the Indian Heart Physicians and I have been performing cardiac rehab since I got home. Last week I had a Myoveiw Stress Test and got the results from Dr Graham this week. Thanks to you and your efforts on my behalf; the test showed NO damage to my heart and the coronary circulation was excellent.
Thank you so much for caring for me and the excellent treatment that I got there at AmeriMed Hospital in Cabo San Lucas. I also appreciate the care and concern that you showed my wife during this crisis. I am very thankful for the decisions that you and the caregivers on the ship made as they were definitely responsible for my successful recovery. I have lost more than 30 pounds and I am now back to work full time and Dr Graham has given me the ok to play golf and do other things around my home and most importantly he approved for me to take a trip to Poland in May to see my first grandchild that will be born April 21.
Again thank you very much and may God continue to bless your abilities.
Mike McHone
